Change in mindset

I have been dabbling in programming long before my high school computer science course. Ever since, I’ve shrugged off the idea of being any sort of programmer as an excuse to do it. I don’t have enough self-confidence sometimes to admit that I am smart enough to keep up with a code compiler, some syntax and a whole lot of applied theory.

So the biggest struggle for me recently has been regarding my business. In the last few months, our first commercial game has made great progress, but I feel that it’s going in a direction I cannot keep up with, unless I grow myself further. So of course, the logical step is to stop trying to be a businessmen first and to go on with being a game developer. After all, businessmen don’t start successful start ups, entrepreneurs do.
